• Type E Coupler – Polypropylene Cam and Groove Male Adapter x Hose Shank

The Type E adapter is ordinarily used with a Type C coupler. However, this Type E adapter can be used with a Type B or D coupler as well as a DC (Dust Cap) of matching size.

Polypropylene Camlock adapter Type E – male adapter by hose shank, is normally inserted into C, B, D & DC couplers for quick connect/disconnect operations. Polypropylene cam & groove coupling is often found in firefighting pumps or IBC or other applications where frequent disconnect operations are necessary like oil or printing industries. These quick hose couplings are worked in low-pressure suction or discharge hoses or pipe systems.

How it works:

• To make a connection, simply slide the Camlock adapter into the Camlock coupling, and with normal hand pressure, press the cam levers down.
• Uncoupling is as quick and simple as coupling. Just lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

Polypropylene Camlock couplings are typically used in low-pressure suction or discharge hoses of firefighting pumps, IBC (intermediate Bulk Container) containers, and other applications that need quick connect or disconnect operations. Black polypropylene cam locks have excellent chemical resistance to most aggressive chemicals and corrosive solvents although it is not as durable as stainless, nylon or aluminum cam locks.
