The Type B coupler is ordinarily used with a Type F adapter. However, this Type B coupler can be used with a Type A or E adapter as well as a DP (Dust Plug) of matching size.

Black Polypropylene Camlock coupler Type B is typically used with Type F, A & E adapters to connect low-pressure suction hoses to pumps, IBC, or the fields that need frequent connect/disconnect operations like ink and printing industries.

Gaskets for polypropylene coupling include Buna-N, PTFE, EPDM or Nitrile. You should check the material is compatible with the media to be contacted with. Handles ( cam arms), pins and safety clips are made of stainless steel. Finger rings are made of brass or stainless steel.

How it works:

• To make a connection, simply slide the Camlock adapter into the Camlock coupling, and with normal hand pressure, press the cam levers down.
• Uncoupling is as quick and simple as coupling. Just lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.

Polypropylene Camlock couplings are typically used in low-pressure suction or discharge hoses of firefighting pumps, IBC (intermediate Bulk Container) containers, and other applications that need quick connect or disconnect operations. Black polypropylene cam locks have excellent chemical resistance to most aggressive chemicals and corrosive solvents although it is not as durable as stainless, nylon or aluminum cam locks.
